ELECTRONIC FILTER I do mean filter. The word filter is derived from the Latin, feltrum, meaning fulled-wool used for straining liquors. That is, any porous substance that removes impurities. In this modern electronic world everyone can have instant, immediate contact with the rest of the world, but no one really wants that . . . everyone screens their calls. Everyone judges what is an impurity. Purity has always been a value judgment, now, even more so. We are all of qualified purity. Impurity can be defined here as simply inconvenient. Prioritizing? Okay. That will do too. But we are all prioritized and re-prioritized. We are all being judged on a routine basis. No wonder we are so insecure. "What have you done for me lately?" That is really what's going on. So here we will demonstrate that filter. If you want to add to it, please do. They can be observations on the modern world or analysis of the media. Not just reviews but putting some thought into it. "Blogging is easy, writing is hard." We want second and third thoughts here. Click on the title at the very bottom of the page or the buttons on the side to get to the individual items.
